Redding’s River Rafting Outfitter since 2002. Rafting in Redding is fun and easy. No Experience Necessary. Bring snacks and extra water. Wear sunscreen, a hat and old tennis shoes or sandals with heel straps. Be on time so you can take your time.
no experience necessary
All raft trips begin with a safety and navigation clinic. The clinic describes the water hazards on the river, how to avoid them, and general rafting technique. We highlight the important landmarks you need to know. Do you need extra help? Not a problem. Our professional staff will take as long as you need to get your raft crew up to speed and river ready. No children under the age of 5 are allowed.
community service
North Country Raft Rental is committed to serving our community. We are proud to support the Ducky Derby, which has donated over three million dollars for youth development programs in our local area. We also support The Spooky Lagoon, Redding’s only haunted house on the water. We joined with Genocide No More-Save Darfur, and the Rafting for Darfur event helped fund a school in Kounoungo. We support The Sacramento River Preservation Trust, Think Pink, CareNet Medical Clinic, and are always looking for fund raising opportunities. I want to thank our rafting guests for making this possible. With your help, North Country Raft Rental continues its commitment to our community.
